Finals Week and some good news

Mon May 4, 2009, 5:41 PM
Today, tomorrow, and Wed. are my college finals for this semester. I'm still worried about getting into the program i'm after, but for now, I'm just glad to be done with school for a few months. My husband and I are talking about taking a vacation this year since we haven't gone anywhere since our honeymoon. It should be fun. Also I finally saw a psychologist who is actually helping me. She's confirmed that I have a mild form of Asperger's Syndrome and has given me some medicine to try out. So far, I'm able to sleep much better and I think it's helping to calm me down a bit more. I'll be seeing her tomorrow to check in. The best part was that she actually listened to me. She asked me several questions, but she never once treated me like I was crazy...or that I had convinced myself that I have AS. That alone is worth so much.

That being said, I can't sit down to draw much anymore, but I've picked up Cross-stitching again, and I'm busily painting some Warmachine miniatures. Maybe I'll get some pics and post them if you guys want. My husband found a computer program that lets me turn pics into cross-stitching patterns, and I love it. I sewed a picture of Necoconeko from Azumanga Daioh for my mom, and she loved it. Now I'm working on a picture of Hatsuni Miku for my hubby to hang at work...which is gonna take a while. Also, iPod touch rocks. My graphing calculator broke (which sucks cause I have a math class), but I was able to find an app for my iPod for 99 cents. Much better than buying another calculator for 200 bucks.

If anyone wants me to drawn anything again, I might give it a shot. Just keep it to animals...I'm just not good at people. Let me know if there's anything specific you guys would like to see from me.
